Abstract
Issue of the IEEE J OURNAL OF SOLID-
STATE CIRCUITS traditionally covers a selection of papers
that were presented at the European Solid-State Circuits Con-
ference (ESSCIRC). This Special Issue contains extended pa-
pers from the 31st ESSCIRC, held September 12–16, 2005, in
Grenoble, France. The conference was organized for the fourth
time jointly with ESSDERC.
The papers in this issue were selected from a total of 109
papers presented at the ESSCIRC’05, based on feedback from
the 72 members o
