Abstract
hlights some of the best papers from the 2006 Sympo-
sium on VLSI Circuits, which was held at the Hilton Hawaiian
Village, Honolulu, Hawaii, June 15–17, 2006. In 2006, the Sym-
posium held its 20th annual meeting, marking two decades of
presentations on state-of-the-art topics important to VLSI de-
signers, exchanges of important ideas and introductions to new
developments in VLSI circuit design. Industry and academia
around the world contributed papers to the Symposium.
The VLSI Symposia offers
