Abstract
ghlights some of the best papers from the 2007 Symposium on
VLSI Circuits, which was held at the Kyoto Rhiga Royal Hotel,
Kyoto, Japan, June 14–16, 2007. In 2007, the Symposium held
its 20th anniversary meeting, marking two decades of presen-
tations on state-of-the-art topics important to VLSI designers,
exchanges of important ideas and introductions to new devel-
