Abstract
esented at the European Solid-State Circuits Confer-
ence (ESSCIRC). This Special Issue contains extended papers
from the 34th ESSCIRC, held September 15–19, 2008, in Edin-
burgh, United Kingdom. The conference was jointly organized
for the seventh time together with ESSDERC.
The papers in this issue were selected from all papers pre-
sented at ESSCIRC’2008, based on the feedback from about
100 members of the technical program committee, the session
