CIRCUITS as the Editor-in-Chief. Prof. Nauta has attracted and
maintained a strong and seasoned editorial board, systematically
refined a review process that cultivates excellence without bias,
and kept a large and complete database of manuscripts in pris-
tine order. As the incoming Editor-in-Chief, I could not have
hoped for a situation better than what I am to inherit. As I in-
tend to see the same spirit of excellence carry the Journal into
