Abstract
An improved envelope ampli fier architecture for en-
velope tracking RF power amplifiers is presented, consisting of two
switching ampli fiers and one linear ampli fier. The first switching
amplifier and the linear ampli fier provide wideband and high-ef fi-
ciency operation, while the second switching ampli fier provides a
reduced bandwidth variable supply to the linear ampli fier to fur-
