Full Four-Channel 63-Gbs 60-GHz CMOS Transceiver With Low-Power Analog and Digit

创新点2:低功耗模拟与数字基带设计,采用40nm CMOS工艺,在16QAM模式下发射和接收分别仅消耗196mW和427mW,其中5位2304-MS/s ADC功耗12mW,6位3456-MS/s DAC功耗11mW,实现了高能效的信号处理。
创新点3:集成LDPC解码器等完整PHY功能,采用(1440, 1344) LDPC解码器,功耗74mW,能量效率低至11.8pJ/b,显著提升了系统的纠错能力和整体性能。

Abstract
This paper presents a 60- GHz direct-conversion RF front -end and baseband transceiver including analog and digital circuitry for PHY functions. The 65-nm CMOS front-end consumes 319 and 223 mW in transm itting and receiving mode, respectively. It is capable of more than 7-Gb/s 16QAM wireless communication for every channe l of the 60-GHz standards, which can be extended up to 10 Gb/s.
