disabled after a fixed delay. It discharges the HSSet and HSReset nodes to prepare the level shifter for the next signal transmission. Due to measured slew rates as high as 20V/ns, a common-mode blanking circuit is used to improve commonmode transient immunity (CMTI). Pull-up and pull-down diodes are implemented for under- and over-voltage protection and for charge recycling during the transients. A bootstrap circuit with a shunt regulator (Fig."11.3.3, bottom right) supplies the high-side with respect to the varying source potentials VS. DUVP acts as under-voltage protection during transients. Turning on the high-side devices causes a recharging of CBST during the transient. To prevent reverse-recovery losses in DBST, MR is placed in series and turned off right before HV1 or HV2 turn on.
