Due to the usage of high voltage switches, the need for small font factor and multiple outputs for high power density power management becomes imperative in Internet-of-Things (IoT) electronics. Thus, single-inductor dual-output (SIDO) converters (top left of Fig. 11.4.1) become one of the best candidates due to its dual outputs with the use of a single inductor [1–3].
