Abstract This paper presents a 12-to-1V 4-output hybrid DC-DC converter that shares a single DC capacitor among all outputs. This shared capacitor stores and redistributes energy, ensuring independent regulation at each output. The proposed design achieves a 721A/cm3 current density and 90.5% peak efficiency at 12-to-1.1V at 2MHz, delivering up to 16A of total load current. The measured results during load transients shows there is no cross-regulation issue. 12-to-1V DC-DC converters are ubiquitous in data-center platforms, many of which must generate several supply rails on the same board. In DDR5 DIMMs, for example (Fig. 26.4.1, top left), a PMIC typically supplies 1.1V and 1.8V for core and I/O, while ever-increasing memory bandwidth pushes requirements for higher efficiency and current density. To improve efficiency and current density, several hybrid topologies have been proposed. By
