Iontophoresis enhances drug penetration non-invasively into body tissue by electrical stimulation [1]. Compared with injection and oral dosage, it has advantages in the ease of use, the minimization of side effects, such as pain, infection and hepatic first-pass effect, and the targeted drug delivery with precise dosage. Especially, the drug dosage can be easily controlled by changing the stimulation current and duration, or the amount of injected charge. Due to these advantages, the iontophoresis has been widely used to treat various diseases, such as pain relief, chronic edema, and rheumatic condition [2] and even to non-medical applications including cosmetics [3]. Recently, patch type iontophoresis systems [4] use only a DC battery without any current controller. They suffer from load impedance variation or supply voltage drop, and as a consequence it cannot precisely control the amount of injected charge jeopardizing the user with
