As a result, in-cell touch-display solutions that offer low-profile formfactor, low module cost, and simplified supply chain have extensively replaced conventional add-on touch panels. Among these, in-cell touch liquid-crystal display (LCD) using segmented-VCOM electrodes, also known as advanced in-cell touch (AIT) LCD [1] running on touch-display-driver IC (TDDI), has emerged as one of the best-performing solutions in the market.
