Samsung Electronics, Hwaseong, Korea 1 2 Recent automobiles increasingly incorporate touch-screen interfaces instead of traditional buttons and knobs. These automotive touch-screen sensors offer versatile functionality and flexible interface that supports software-driven updates over time. However, as illustrated in Fig. 6.10.1 (top), touch-screen sensors can emit significant electromagnetic (EM) radiation, which may have an adverse effect on other electronic components and systems within the vehicle, potentially leading to serious malfunctions or compromised vehicle safety [1,2]. According to the EM interference (EMI) standard CISPR 25 for automobiles, a touchscreen sensor must not emit EMI that exceeds specified limits in the frequency range above 150kHz. However, the typical driving signal frequency applied to the electrodes of the touchscreen panel (TSP) ranges from 200 to 500kHz [3,4]. Each electrode in the TSP acts like an
